Paolo Montalban most recently played the title role of the King in "The King and I" at the Lyric Opera House in Chicago (the second largest opera house in the USA) . Other recent credits included the reconceived version of "The Unsinkable Molly Brown" at Denver Center Theater, the role of the Ballad Singer in The Orphan of Zhao and also Count Carl Magnus in A Little Night Music both at ACT, in San Francisco. In NY, he has contributed to the Broadway productions of "Breakfast at Tiffany’s", "Pacific Overtures", "The King & I" and off-Broadway in Shakespeare in the Park’s "Two Gentlemen of Verona", and "The Romance of Magno Rubio" at Culture Project. His television credits include The Prince in ABC’s "Cinderella", series regular Kung Lao in TNT’s "Mortal Kombat: Conquest", as well as guest star, recurring, and co-star roles on "The Blacklist" "Madam Secretary", "Nurse Jackie", "Law & Order: SVU", and "One Life to Live". On film, he has been seen in Just Wright, The Adjustment Bureau, and The Great Raid. He holds a pre-med psychology degree from Rutgers University.
